Standard motorcycle licence, 125cc motorbike training.

The Normal way to pass your motorbike test is to take a CBT course, learn and take your test on a 125cc motorcycle.
Once you have passed the test you can ride any size bike but it must be restricted to 33bhp. You ride the restricted bike for two years, and then you can ride anything.

i was a complete beginner when i signed up for my lessons. Never having ridden a bike in my life and being pillion only a handful of times, i threw myself in at the deep end. I couldn't have asked for better tuition. After doing my cbt, i went straight on for 10 hours worth of lessons towards my mod 1 test which i completed with 0 minors. Finally on to my next 10 hours and then my mod 2 which i also passed first time with 2 minors.

Preparing for the test.

After you have taken the CBT, you could buy a 125cc bike, practice riding it, go and take the test when you feel ready.
However we would recommend that you have a few lessons during the few weeks prior to your test make sure that you are still doing the right things.

Alternatively, you could just have motorbike training lessons using one of our bikes, this is a better option if you wish to get onto a slightly bigger bike, therefore don't want the expense of buying a 125cc bike.

Costs (125cc only).

Option 1- Use your own bike:

Book and pay for 12 hours training (12 for the price of 10), more if you need it, but with plenty of practice by yourself this would get most Car drivers through the Motorcycle tests £300.

Option 2- Hire one of our bikes:

12 hours Regular Rider (extra lessons £38 per hour) £350
15 hours Some Experience (extra lessons £30 per hour) £450
20 hours Novice (extra lessons £25 per hour) £550

Training can be done in a few days or spread over a few weeks, whichever suits you. However we do not recommend more than 3 hours at a time.

All 125cc lessons are on a One student to One instructor basis. If you wish to train with a friend. Deduct 10% each (not CBT).
