Welcome to the news section.

We have just started a Facebook page, Please like or recommend us.

We want to merge our old Facebook page with the new one but cannot until the new one has more Likes than the old.

it may not look much different but its a new smoother website. And we have better control so the news may get updated more often.

February has not been a great month for bike training and testing, quite a few things cancelled due to snow and ice, but our students have still managed some excellent test passes, some with No Faults Some with only One Fault, the worst was 3 faults, but even that is a good result. well done all of you.

New rules apply from January 2013, Talk to us for details but 2 main changes, First is you have to be 24 to do Direct Access, the other is if you take the test on a 125cc, you can only ride a 125cc and you no longer get an automatic upgrade after two years.

Direct Access now has to be done on a 600cc bike, We have just changed our entire fleet, the 125s are still the same but new 2012 bikes and the old 500s have gone and we have shiney new Suzuki SFV 650s.One reason we like these is they have gear position dispay which is helping new riders, they als have ABS which has helped with confidence whilst doing emergency stops. We have added OXFORD heated grips.

So far the Customers have all loved riding these bikes.

We still do all our training on a One to One Basis, and only two, three or four hours at a time. We have found 3 hours at a time is best. We always ask students when they pass the test if they were happy with the training done like that, we have not yet had anyone that would have preferred a 2 to 1 intensive course.

We do offer a discount for Two friends training together However the vast majority of customers prefer one to one training.

We are no more expensive than other schools anyway with the bonus of individual tuition.

Thanks to the people who have given us their custom. Congratulations on passing your tests or completing your CBT training courses. Many of you call in to see us whilst out on your own bikes, or some keep in touch on e-mail.

Thanks also to you all that worked hard at your riding and helped to keep our test pass rate up.

Again this year a high percentage of our students have been female. In most cases they had not had any experience on bikes and many struggled with weight of the direct access bikes, however they all got it done and whent away very happy.

It is a big achevment and they should all be proud of themselves.

Congratulations also to those who have done the CBT course, in particular those who were very nervous but still reached the required standard.

...

SAD NEWS.
